What We Believe

Statement of Faith

The core beliefs and convictions that guide our ministry, grounded in the authority of Scripture and centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ.

1

The Scriptures

We hold the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final standard for faith, life, doctrine, and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21
2

The Nature of God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God, equal in power and glory, working together in perfect unity.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19
3

Jesus Christ

We confess Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, risen bodily from the grave, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and returning in glory.

John 1:1–14; Romans 1:3–4; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
4

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates the sinner, indwells all believers, empowers the Church, produces godly fruit, and distributes spiritual gifts for ministry.

John 16:7–15; Galatians 5:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12
5

Humanity and Sin

Humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and spiritual death through disobedience. Every person is separated from God and in need of salvation.

Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–3
6

Salvation

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith alone in Christ alone. Through the atoning work of Jesus, believers are forgiven, justified, adopted, and made new.

Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17
7

The Church

The Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers. It exists to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and show the love and truth of Christ to the world.

Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:11–16
8

Christian Living

Followers of Jesus are called to obey Scripture, pursue holiness, walk in the Spirit, love God and neighbor, and live out their faith with integrity, accountability, and compassion.

1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 5:22–25
9

Human Dignity, Creation, and Biblical Morality

We believe every person is created in the image of God and has inherent worth. God created humanity as male and female, equal in value and distinct in design. We affirm that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God and defined in Scripture as the lifelong union of one man and one woman. We uphold biblical standards of sexual morality and expect those serving in or receiving services from this ministry to honor these standards as we guide them toward a Christ-centered life.

Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:18–24; Matthew 19:4–6
10

The Return of Christ and Final Judgment

Jesus will return bodily to judge the living and the dead, to restore all things, and to reign forever. Believers will enjoy eternal life with God, and those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from Him.

Acts 1:11; Revelation 20–22
11

Mission and Compassion

Because Christ has shown mercy to us, we show mercy to others. We serve the hurting, the broken, the homeless, the imprisoned, and the addicted with the Gospel of grace, the truth of Scripture, and love in action.

Matthew 25:35–40; Luke 4:18
